EQ for the Governance Professional @ Online

The role of the governance professional has evolved exponentially since the early governance reports of Cadbury (UK) and the King Reports (South Africa). The greater appreciation for what corporate governance can do for organizations, and the implications for those that fail to follow good governance practice, has elevated the importance of the governance professional as a trusted advisor to the board and management both in the UAE and globally. Whilst corporate secretaries and similar have always been recognised for their technical prowess, this evolution has brought the need for a new and wide range of skills to build influence and impact – skills that are not taught in the classroom.
