Webinar on "ESG: What Boards Need to Be Doing" @ Online

When February 1, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - February 1, 2023 2:00 pm

A Board needs to be on top of their organisation’s response to ESG developments – and working out how their oversight needs to adapt.

Management teams should now be focussed on the strategic implications of ESG developments and what that means for the way the organisation works.  Expectations from across stakeholder groups are becoming ever more demanding.  Reporting requirements are rapidly increasing – with significant implications for control and assurance.   And communication needs to be convincing and underpinning the strategy.

The Board’s oversight needs to develop in parallel with these developments. In this practical webinar we will suggest Ten Steps a Board should be taking to make sure it’s on top of the ESG agenda and the governance implications.

The webinar will be presented by:

Dr. Ashraf Gamal El Din, CEO, Hawkamah Institute of Governance.

Richard Sheath, a founding Director of Independent Audit Limited, the leading board and governance effectiveness specialists.

The ESG: what Boards Need To Be Doing, hosted by Hawkamah and presented jointly with Independent Audit Limited.
