Professional Directors

Hawkamah has grown over the years to become the leading governance and board institute in the MENA region, and one that is also well-recognised globally. Companies and other types of organisations across the MENA region frequently approach Hawkamah to nominate qualified directors to them.

We only promote our own Certified Directors, those who have completed the four parts of the DDP, successfully passed the self-assessment and who engage with us in various forums and learning events.

We therefore encourage our graduates not to stop learning after getting certified, for governance is a journey, not a destination. Professional Directors must continue to learn as long as they want to effectively serve on boards and be trustworthy governance experts. Many business, government, and NGO leaders and top executives have gone through our rigorous professional directorship program to show their commitment to professionalism in boards.
